The only way to get Dell's help now it's out of warranty is to call an expensive phone number and I'm not confident they could even solve the problem. The internet says it's to do with a Creative driver that just needs to be removed, but I have no such thing on my PC anywhere. I've tried uninstalling and disabling the webcam in device manager, updating the drivers, using Dell's resource CD that came with the laptop, but even this and their website don't have the driver for this webcam. ![]() Google+ or Skype but Dell Webcam Center will not detect it. I can use the webcam in other mediums e.g. Please install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam Center again". The error message says: "No supported webcam driver detected. laptop or desktop PC from webcam tools without restrictions. Performed a clean install to avoid all the bloatware that comes with Dell PCs and ever since then the Dell Webcam Center won't/can't detect the integrated webcam.
